Hello society
Me:Hello society. How you doing? (Absolutely not in Joey's voice)
Society: Let's skip the greetings. What do you want?
Me: Before we jump into anything, who are you exactly?
Society:You've grown too tall for a girl.
Me: It definitely is you. The lucky bastard. The one that gets to teach boys to be ashamed of their emotions. How being "manly" is the way forward. Silence is a blood-curdling scream of anguish, set out to break their souls. It is unfortunate how at the drop of a hat, they all grow thinking the same. It's sad that we don't get to teach them sooner that success is a sense of achievement and not an illegitimate child.
Society:Not a single penny for your thoughts.
Me: What's your problem with women who're over 30 and still unmarried? I'll quote you with some drop of decency if you justify it with the biological concept but I won't. Because it's not. You've made the male ego so fragile such that independent women scare men and rich men attract women. You say abortion is a crime but look down on single mothers. Religious leaders that preach peace but endorse wars. How is hope on the horizons if we victimize abusers and feel ashamed of the actual rape victims?
Society: "A great step forward was made the day men understood that in order to torment one another more efficiently they would have to gather together, to organize themselves into a society". Emil Cioran
Me: "Society became my glittering bride,
And airy hopes my children." William Wordsworth
Society:
"Just as there is no society or group that is not a collective view of persons, so there is no individual who may not be regarded as a particular view of social groups. He has no separate existence; through both the hereditary and the social factors in his life a man is bound into the whole of which he is a member, and to consider him apart from it is quite as artificial as to consider society apart from individuals." Charles Horton
Me:Talk of the devil's advocate huh! You slither into town quietly so no one would notice when you dig your fangs in and slowly poison their minds.
Society:You elect your own leaders. Dig your own graves. Satisfy your wants, kill each other then talk of diversity. But who to blame? I am here my child. Come forth. Come as you are.
Me: How can something not good for the beehive be good for the bees?
Society :The sanity of a society is a balance of a thousands insanities...
Me: Indeed, just like how Nelson Mandela has put it. "A new society cannot be created by reproducing the repugnant past, however refined or enticingly repackaged."
You're not as bad as I thought you were
Society: When are you getting married? Haven't you finished school yet? Your age mates are married with kids and leading successful lives now. You're wearing exposing clothes, very indecent. Oh you're covered a bit too much, are you oppressed?
Me:Oh wow. I see you're back to work. It was nice talking to you!
